Solar Smart

Introduction:

As part of the semester project, I had the opportunity to work on a comprehensive branding and design project for SolarSmart, a company specializing in renewable energy solutions. SolarSmart's primary goal is to provide electricity to homes, businesses, and communities using solar panels and sunlight. With a focus on sustainability and combating climate change, SolarSmart aims to raise awareness about the importance of renewable energy.

Throughout the project, I worked on creating a new logo, developing a brand style guide, designing a website, and establishing a design system for SolarSmart's online presence. The objective was to ensure consistency across all touchpoints and create a relevant look and feel that resonates with SolarSmart's target audience.

SolarSmart's target audience consists of individuals aged between 30 and 50, with an equal distribution of males and females. They are passionate about learning new things regarding renewable energy and value natural solutions to combat climate change. Homeowners and business owners interested in adopting solar panels for electricity generation are the primary customers SolarSmart aims to reach.

By incorporating the principles of effective branding and design, I aimed to provide SolarSmart with a cohesive visual identity that communicates their commitment to sustainability and appeals to their target audience. The end result of this project is a set of branding materials, a user-friendly website, and a design system that will empower SolarSmart's employees to maintain consistency and quality in their online presence.

Through this project, I had the opportunity to showcase my skills in branding, design, and user experience, while contributing to the promotion of renewable energy and sustainable practices. I am proud to have been a part of this project and look forward to sharing the outcomes in my portfolio.
